Capucine is a young woman of 31 years old and mother of a 9 month old girl. You must know her through her Youtube channel and Instagram account where she shares to her many subscribers her daily life as a woman and a mother. At the birth of her daughter, she chose to breastfeed, that’s why we were fortunate to present her our brand. Curve Egeria, she was kind enough to share her testimony about motherhood, breastfeeding and our Curve breast pads!
CAPUCINE & MATERNITY :
"After spending more than 10 years with the love of my life, having traveled all around the world, having bought our house, after having blossomed professionally, we wanted to found our family to expand our happiness. "
Capucine and her husband enjoyed the life before creating their family. They have gone from a life of two in love to a happy life to three with their little girl, born last October.
The first name was unanimous in the couple. The meaning of the word "victory" and what that means immediately makes sense to the two lovers. Then they quickly agreed on the Victoria name.
CAPUCINE & BREASTFEEDING :
Capucine chose to breastfeed about 9 months for the many breastfeeding benefits brings to her daughter and herself.
"I think there are a lot of benefits, such as protecting your baby from microbes through antibodies in breast milk. The fact that it is the best diet that can be given to its baby and that it is a special moment between the mother and her baby, a moment full of tenderness and sweetness. "
"The more the months go by and the more Victoria interacts with me during the feeding, she looks at me with those little almond-shaped black eyes, touches my hair, touches my face, closes me with those little fingers ... These are moments that I consider very precious "
HER ADVICES FOR A MOM-TO-BE WHO WANTS TO BREASTFEED :
"Ask for help if you have questions or problem / pain, don’t put pressure on yourself and especially trust yourself. "
Even if breastfeeding is a natural act, it’s not innate. There are ways to get advice or information about breastfeeding. First with a lactation consultant and / or even your midwife, they will be able to advise you and accompany you for your breastfeeding.
CAPUCINE & CURVE :
"I had milk leaks regularly while breastfeeding, but now it's getting rare at 8 months of breastfeeding."
Capucine preferred to use our Curve washable nursing pads because they find them more comfortable, very absorbent, less visible under clothing and much more environmentally friendly!
CURVE NURSING PADS BENEFITS ACCORDING TO CAPUCINE :
"They are easy to put on / take off, we slip them into the bra and lets go for the day! I have never had a t-shirt stained because of a leak. They are very absorbent so it is not necessary to change them during the day. "
